For two decades NADCP has been a leader in the justice reform movement at the international, national, state and local level. NADCP works to create and enhance treatment courts; including adult, juvenile, family, reentry and tribal drug courts; DWI Courts, and Veterans Treatment Courts. NADCP and its divisions have trained over 500,000 justice and treatment professionals in thousands of jurisdictions.

NADCP’s cadre of experts are able to answer questions on a variety of topics including:

  • Drug courts, DWI courts, and veterans treatment courts
  • Drug policy
  • Sentencing reform
  • Addiction treatment including medication-assisted treatment
  • The intersection of substance use and mental health disorders and the justice system.

In addition, we regularly connect reporters with program graduates, judges and other professionals involved in these programs.
