A drug court professional from Nevada meets with Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV), right, to discuss drug court funding, which provides evidence-based treatment and services for people in the justice system with substance use and mental health disorders, during the 2017 NADCP Capitol Hill Day in the Russell Senate Office Building on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 in Washington, D.C. Last week, we achieved a historic $165 million to help fund treatment courts for fiscal year 2018 (which ends September 30). Next week, Congress will begin to work on fiscal year 2019 funding (which begins October 1). We must ensure this historic level of federal funding continues, and your senators play a critical role. We’ve made it easy for you to request your senators sign a letter expressing their support for treatment court funding:

The deadline to sign this critical letter is Monday, April 9, so we need you to reach out to your senators today to ask for their signatures. We hope you’ll choose to act on behalf of the more than 150,000 lives who will be saved by treatment courts this year alone! It only takes a few minutes to make a huge impact. Click here to take action.
