In response to the exponential growth in the drug court field and the anticipated growth over the next year, NADCP has expanded its training and technical assistance capacity to meet the growing needs of the field. It has hired drug court practitioners who understand the criminal justice and treatment aspects of operating and planning a drug court. The NADCP training and technical assistance team has the capacity to provide training and technical assistance, based on first hand knowledge of how to plan and operate a drug court and the myriad of issues that surface during that process.

The NADCP training and technical assistance team has experience in operational and planning issues for tribal, adult, juvenile and family drug courts. It also has expertise in developing drug court/law enforcement linkages, an area that has become increasingly important as drug courts link with community policing programs, to share and leverage resources to help each other combat alcohol and drug use and reduce recidivism. NADCP encourages you to use its resources.
